The Pleasant Hill
Bike Family Fest (BFF)

A super fun and free community wide event to encourage and support kids who want to BICYCLE!

Build Skills & Bike Fun

The BFF has two goals: to educate & build skills around bicycling in our community for those who already bike and for those who have never biked before. AND to have the best day on bikes we can imagine.

This epic event is aimed at families with 2-11 year olds and open to all! We have partnered with everyone we can think of to bring you the most useful and fun day on bikes we can produce!  We want to see kids biking our obstacle courses, learning how to get to school safely on their bikes, getting their bikes tuned up and having fun with all of our partners who will be joining us!

We encourage you to cycle to the event at Pleasant Hill Public Library where each child will get a passport with a load of fun activities to check off and earn prizes for hitting our awesome stations:

  • A pop up bike park in the Pleasant Hill Rec & Park field created by the Stewards of Briones and Bay Area Bike Project

  • Obstacle Course with  Cleary Bikes

  • A learn-to-ride clinic with Wheel Kids

  • Helmet fit check with Street Smarts Diablo

  • Safe Routes to School stations with Sequoia, Strandwood, PHE, Gregory Gardens and the Biking Vikings
