The second-annual Rockville Gromduro hosted by Bay Area Bike Project is back by popular demand! The race will be held at Rockville Hills Regional Park in Fairfield, CA for for kids under age 18.

Registration OPENS April 28th at 8 AM.  Reg will close Fri, Oct 2 OR when it sells out - whichever comes first. Last year sold out so be sure to register early!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Race Overview:

Course overview:

  • The course is still in development and will be released closer to race day. Riders can expect a similar experience to last year in terms of distance and climbing—approximately 7 miles with 900 feet of climbing- with a few fresh stage updates we can’t wait to share!

  • Expect classic Rockville tech, rocky descents and punchy climbs.

  • Beginner/Sport: 2-4 stages, Expert:  4-5 Stages.  

 

Race categories:

  • There are three categories: Beginner, Sport, Expert.  There are three age groups: Under 10, 10-13, and 14-18. Racers should select the appropriate age group based on their age on October 11th 2026.  

Parking and Shuttle Start Location: Solano Community College, Fairfield, CA  📍 

Shuttle Dropoff: Rockville Hills Regional Park, Fairfield, CA  (NO PARKING at ROCKVILLE!)
Race Day: Sunday, October 11, 2026
Awards & Party: About an hour after the final racer finishes, join us at Solano Community College for a BBQ lunch, podium celebrations, and a good old-fashioned good time!

Race Overview Continued:

  • Lodging:

       We recommend either camping at Skyline Wilderness Park (which also has fun singletrack to check out         after the race!) or booking one of the many hotel options around Fairfield, CA.​

  • Chaperones:

    • ​Riders under age 10 MUST have a follow rider/ chaperone.
         ◦    If you can not find a follower for your young racer, or can not follow them yourself, then reach out to the race director.

    • Riders aged 10-13 may have a chaperone if they’d like.

    • Riders aged 14-18 may not race with a chaperone.

    • The chaperone (follow rider) must ride behind the racer, not in front of them. 

  • Spectating:

    • There will be designated areas for spectators on the venue map (released with course details). Please remain in these areas for the safety of our racers and the public.​

    • Spectators can use our shuttles from the parking area/Solano College.
